Crashes on every open. Might want to actually test the app before you release it.

Okay, so Ive found that the initial setup is much easier to do from a Mac Book using safari... And then install the iPhone app. Seems to be working for me now. Not too many bugs with the iPhone app. However, the iPhone app GRAPHS for each of the sensors do not work at all for the three sensor temperatures. And for the humidity, they seem to be mis-labeled in reverse chronological order... Eg: 1 hour ago is labeled as -12hrs, 2 hours ago is labeled as -9hrs, 3 hours ago is labeled as -6hrs, etc. (Btw: The sensors seem to have a decent range within my home that is quite oversized at 6k square feet, as well as outdoors.)

Update: like others said, use Safari web page to delete "Friends bridge," in this case the default Acurite headquarters. Then iOS app works to see your bridge. Original review: Like most other reviews, app wont connect. Using Safari web page for now until they fix.

This app worked the first couple of times I used it then quit. I came here to write a review to rip this app a new one and read the fix review. I deleted the acurite hq bridge from the follow my friends bridge page on the website. I then signed back into the app and it immediately began working as advertised. This is what I was wanting out of this app. Satisfied....

This is an update. Theyve fixed a bunch and Im loving it! Is great when it can connect but more often than not it doesnt connect. Fix your stuff Acu-Link!!!

When I got the equipment and the app it worked great, but after a few months it just quit one day, I tried everything I could do to get it working, NO joy the problem is not on my end. Thats to bad I liked this app, I started to depend on it, And I was going to add to the system, but thats out window with the app.

Ive had this app for a few months and have nothing but problems with it recognizing my weather station. After following the advise here on these reviews, I went into the settings on the My Back Yard Weather web site and deleted the default weather station of the manufacturer and ever since everything works great. At this point Im 100% satisfied with it.

This app is just downright awful. Multiple SSL errors and when it finally does connect the load times are simply laughable.

I also have the same sever connection issue. Following the fix another reviewer suggested now the apps go back to life: delete follow my friends bridge

The steps below corrected the sensor error for me 1. Login to your Acu-link account 2. You should see your sensor data and a box at the upper right of the screen with your email address. Click on the box 3. You should see a drop down with a "Follow My Friends Bridge". Click on it 4. You should see bridges with a red X next to them. Remove them and exit this window 5. Restart the app. All my data started displaying again

Should be 0 stars - the app crashes immediately on opening.

The Bamaguys fix works great, maybe he needs to get a contract with Acurite.

Terrible app because you have to go to acurites My Backyard and delete the default bridge to get it to work, otherwise it just says cant connect to server. Come on guys, FIX THIS! It shouldnt require a degree in IT to get your app to work!

Good weather station when used with its own receiver unit, but doesnt work at all with the app. You cant even open the app, it just crashes.

Just as the previous review stated. If you log into your account from a computer. Click on your username down arrow in the upper right hand corner (also known as the settings area). Go to "follow my friends bridge". Remove the default bridge. After I did this the app on my phone finally started working again after 2 weeks of this annoying error. I never added a bridge to follow and I have not logged into my account from a computer in nearly two years. Apparently the acurite people somehow added this mysterious bridge to my account. I do not care what someone elses bridge is reading other than my own.

The IPad version works ok, I havent been able to connect in a couple of months with the iPhone app. They need to put down the coffee and fix it.

Not good. Spend less time on the GUI and more time on reliability. Do over!!!

On iPad works fine. On iPhone app opens then closes immediately. Doesnt work on my iPhone at least.

Previous post is correct! Remove the default bridge as per instructions and the app will work. Thanks for the fix bamaguy.
